Administrative Professorship for „Business Administration, in Particular Marketing“ (in Anlehnung an W2)

2025-08-05 THE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY AT THE LEUPHANA UNIVERSITY LÜNEBURG IS SEEKING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING POSITION FROM OCTOBER 1, 2025, TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2026:

Business Administration, in Particular Marketing (in Anlehnung an W2)

Remuneration will be based on W2.

You represent the subject of marketing in research and teaching. Your research in the field of marketing relates to sustainability, digitalization, and/or entrepreneurship, possibly from a psychological perspective. You are willing to teach in interdisciplinary degree programs, also in the English language.

You are passionate about teaching, using innovative teaching methods and high quality standards at Leuphana College and the Graduate School. The teaching load is 9 SWS.

Additional duties include:

  • Committed supervision of theses and student projects
  • Active participation in the research colloquium
  • Continuation and further development of research projects in your own research profile
  • Publication of results from your own research activities

Formal requirements are based on § 25 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (NHG) and include a university degree and a doctoral degree in business administration, psychology, or a subject area relevant to the profile; your aptitude for teaching and your ability to engage in independent academic research as demonstrated by the above-average quality of your dissertation, and additional academic achievements obtained, i.e. in the course of being an assistant professor, during your postdoctoral lecture qualification (German: Habilitation) or other achievements recognized as being equivalent to a postdoctoral qualification.
