Vita

Alexa Böckel is a PhD candidate, teaches and researches at the Centre for Sustainability Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg, is a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt and a Research Associate at the Technische Universität Dresden. Her research focus is on circular startups and their contribution to the circular society, how circular startups can be supported by incubation programmes and what impact understandings exist in incubation programmes. Previously, she was a research assistant at the Social Change Hub of Leuphana University, a DigitalChangeMaker at the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung and researched corporate digital responsibility, blockchain in the circular economy and crowdfunding for sustainable ventures.
