Theses
The Professorship of Business Administration, in particular Communication and Cultural Management offers interested students a variety of topics for their theses. These are advertised at the end of each semester for the following semester. Currently, the following topics are offered:
- Entrepreneurial Communication
- Digital Communication/Communication in the Digital Age
- Corporate Social Responsibility Communication
BACHELOR THESES
I. Application procedure
Application deadline for the summer semester: February 14
Application deadline for the winter semester: August 15
Please send your application with a short letter of motivation (incl. which of the advertised topics one’s applying for; existing methodical experience and, if possible, contemplated theories and methods) and your curriculum vitae (incl. course and student identification number) in due time by e-mail to Ms. Nora Rein (nora.rein@leuphana.de).
You will be notified within a week after the deadline has passed if your application has been successful. Please note that late applications not submitted by the deadline and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. All applications that cannot be considered due to a large number of applicants will automatically be put onto the waiting list. Successful applicants must bindingly accept their offer within one week. Otherwise, their spot will be offered to the student highest on the waiting list.

III. Requirements
- A Bachelor's cours in Business Administration with a major/minor in Marketing, Sustainability Sciences, Business Psychology, Social Media and Information Systems, Digital Business and/or IBAE is desirable, but not mandatory
- Interest in writing a conceptual or empirical thesis in one of the three subject areas described
- Qualitative and/or quantitative knowledge of methods (only if an empirical thesis is written)
- A high degree of initiative and commitment
- Participation in the bachelor colloquium of Prof. Dr. Bekmeier-Feuerhahn in the semester of supervision
