Nora Sophie Rein
Vita
Nora Rein is a research and teaching associate and a doctoral candidate at the Professorship for Business Management, in particular Communication and Cultural Management. During her undergraduate programme, she studied interdisciplinary topics from the fields of media studies, cultural studies, literature and linguistics, completing classes in Portuguese, Norwegian and Icelandic. She successfully graduated with a thesis concerning the construction of national identity in film. Holding a University of Leeds Tuition Fee Scholarship in 2019-2020, she undertook her postgraduate studies in International Communication at the School of Media and Communication with a focus on communication and globalisation, identity and public opinion. Her Masters dissertation investigated the relationship between place branding practices and global social change by means of examples from the Nordic countries. She joined the Leuphana University in December 2020, after obtaining her MA degree with distinction.
