Impact Incubator for business ideas with social added value
2023-01-19 Climate change, environmental pollution, social injustice - there are enough reasons to think not only about economic success but also about social welfare when it comes to founding a company. The Holistic Impact Incubator (HOLII) in the Startup Port supports founding teams in implementing business ideas with added social value.
During the 4-month incubation program, the teams are supported by experienced impact founders and experts through video inputs, guided implementation sprints, feedback days and mentoring.
The next round will start in March 2023 and applications are still open until 31.01.2023. All interested startups in the Hamburg metropolitan region that have a concrete startup idea with social added value and would like to advance it in a socially, ecologically and economically sustainable manner can participate.
As a joint project, Startup Port combines the startup support activities of seven universities and other research institutions in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. It specifically networks actors, creates synergies, and develops formats of cooperation across institution and state borders. In this way, it sends out a clear signal for entrepreneurship in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
