Citizens and researchers collaborated with policymakers and administrators to create visions for "Future City Lüneburg 2030+." The city administration, civil society, and Leuphana University jointly conducted 15 experiments to explore how change can happen locally. The outcomes were published in the Future City Magazine, which also reflected on the results with citizens and experts. Topics included land consumption, urban densification, property structures, real-world laboratory research, political perspectives, and challenges specific to Lüneburg. The project was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
