Digital for the first time: Long night of writing

2020-08-14 Lüneburg. The time of deadlines is approaching again. Inspiration and motivation to (continue) writing will be provided on August 20th by the 14th Long Night of Writing - for the first time digitally via Zoom.

From 4 pm to midnight there will be different offers in four different rooms:

The highlight of the Long Night are two rounds of discussions that focus on writing in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. Discussions with representatives of all faculties about the expectations of written language skills.

Writing tutors will be available in a consultation room throughout the whole time to offer individual assistance. The team of the Writing Centre is supported by staff from the library and the Method Centre.

After a warm-writing exercise in a writing room, the individual writing process can begin at 5.45 pm with a structured sequence of 25 minutes of writing and a 5-minute break. Five-minute mobile movement units offer relaxation in between.

Impulse workshops are also offered to make work in the home office easier. Topics include: writing in the home office, diversity-sensitive language, writer's block, Citavi and writing in the foreign language English.

Those interested can register for the Long Night via this link. A registration is necessary for the transmission of the zoom login data.
