Media and information literacy study MIKS

2024-11-30 Take part in the MIKS media and information literacy study and win one of 300 prizes

The media and information literacy study MIKS has been launched. The target group is all students at Leuphana University. The survey includes questions from the field of media and information literacy as well as questions on the use of technology. The results of the study will help us to tailor our services at Leuphana's Media and Information Centre (MIZ) even better to the needs of students. The survey is also linked to a prize draw.

A total of 300 prizes will be raffled off among all participating Leuphana students:

- 1x fitness contract
- 2x escape game session 
- 3x canoeing
- 4x yoga courses
- 20x large coffee packages
- 50x solar-powered power banks
- 100x cups of coffee
- 120x university sports taster courses

The MIKS survey is being conducted as a pilot study by Leuphana's MIZ in cooperation with Prof Dr Dana Mah. The overall study was initiated by the Joint Commission on Information Literacy of the German Library Association (dbv) and the Association of German Librarians (VDB) in cooperation with the DIPF Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education.
