Vita

Daniel Tolks studied health promotion and management and did his dissertation at the LMU Munich. He works at the ZAG and also at the Institute for Medical Education at the University Hospital, LMU Munich. He developed blended learning training portals in several EU projects for diabetes prevention (IMAGE, GIFTS and MANAGE CARE) and did his research in the field of digitalization in medical and health education. He is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal and Fulda University of Applied Science for the area of ​​Health Communication. He teaches at the LMU in the context of the Longitudinal Curriculum in the field of Health Economics, Health Systems and Public Health Care (GGG) and conducts lecturer trainings on the topic "E-Learning in Medical Education".

He also researches the topic Serious Games and Gamification for Health and is part of the Project "the Wellbeing Game". He is Chairman of the "Digitalization" Committee of the German Medical Education Society (GMA) and Head of the Communication and Health Education Group at the LMU.
