Information for professors/lecturers and students: 2nd examination phase in the summer semester 2021

Today you received a separate e-mail with information on how to prepare for the courses in the winter semester 2021/22 on the basis of a further developed hygiene concept at Leuphana, which is based on the regulations of the new Corona Ordinance of the state of August 25, 2021. In this context, we have informed you about the introduction of the so-called 3G rule for courses in the winter semester, according to which, in the future, proof of vaccination, convalescence or testing (rapid antigen tests: up to 24 hours, PCR tests: up to 48 hours) must be presented before each course date in order to participate in courses.

With this mail we hereby inform you, in addition to the regulations for the courses in the upcoming winter semester, that the university will apply the 3G rule already from next week, for all examinations of the 2nd examination phase of the summer semester 2021. The regulations made for the winter semester apply accordingly.

Students are accordingly requested to present proof of vaccination, recovery or testing before the start of an examination. Examiners are asked to obtain and review this evidence prior to the start of an exam.
