Talk and discussion: interdisciplinary curriculum as network, what might we mean?

02. Dec

On 2 December 2021, Prof. Dr. Carl Gombrich, The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), formerly University College London (UCL), will give a keynote lecture followed by a discussion. The lecture will take place from 18.00 to 20.00 in the Central Building, room 40.704. Prof. Gombrich will be connected virtually.

Impulse lecture

The big problems affect us worldwide and are complex, we know that. We are already working together inter- and transdisciplinarily to think up and implement solutions.

At his newly founded university, The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), the aim is to respond to the problems and their dynamics with new concepts of interdisciplinary teaching and learning.

Carl Gombrich is moved by the question of how a curriculum can be rethought as a network under these circumstances in order to do better justice to the complexity and dynamics of the problems.

The lecture is part of the series "Liberal Education Talk" (LET).
