Leadership Skills for Students
[WORKSHOP] Leadership skills are a key requirement for anyone who wants to take responsibility and actively shape their environment, both during studies and in professional life. Successful collaboration does not happen by chance. Leadership means providing direction, taking responsibility, and achieving goals together with others. The workshop explores how to create a trusting work environment in which motivation, personal responsibility, and cooperation can thrive. Participants reflect on their role within a team and engage with central questions of modern leadership, such as self-leadership, motivating others, and balancing performance expectations with a culture of trust and collaboration. Practical methods and structured reflection help participants identify individual development areas and apply concrete tools for leadership, communication, and teamwork effectively.
By the end of the seminar, students will be able to:
- explain key concepts of leadership, management, and team and self-leadership.
- apply different leadership styles and situational leadership to their own contexts.
- identify success factors for effective teamwork and actively contribute to constructive working conditions.
- analyze group dynamics and reflect on their own behavior in challenging situations.
- address conflicts and difficulties constructively and work toward solutions.
