Queer parenthood
The term ‘queer parenting’ can be used to describe family constellations from the LGBTIQ* spectrum, for example people who live in a homosexual relationship, but also intersex and transgender people who take responsibility for their own or adopted children.
A detailed definition of the term ‘queer parenting’ can be found at i-PÄD Berlin, the centre of excellence for intersectional pedagogy.
