Information for employees

A very central aspect in the work-life balance of employees is the compatibility of family and career. Leuphana University would like to support its members and their families with various measures. Flexible working hours, opportunities to also work from home, and extensive self-determination over work processes and work organization are characterized as family-friendly and contribute to job satisfaction. Our main concern is to support measures for a balanced relationship between work and private life. The aim is to reconcile private interests such as family life, health and sports, education and cultural interests with the demands of the working world.
At Leuphana University, the Equal Opportunity Office has collaborated on various service agreements (DV) to achieve these goals. These include the flexitime agreement, DV on the regulation of working hours in the scientific area, and the DV on teleworking.
