Office for Equal Opportunities
The Equal Opportunities Office advises on questions regarding reasonable adjustments, barriers that can hinder studying and is happy to take suggestions that promote an inclusive university culture.
Ombudsperson
In the event that conflict situations arise with other university members in the context of the impairment, the ombudsperson for students and lecturers can - while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity - accompany them as a mediating authority in a results-oriented and all-party manner and support the finding of solutions in corresponding matters.
Services of the General Students Committee (AStA)
ARCHIPEL
ARCHIPEL (Autonomous Unit for Chronic Illnesses, Handicaps and Inclusion, Mental Illnesses, Empowerment and Learning Impairment) is aimed at all students who experience particular limitations and restrictions due a disability, chronic illness or other conditions. ARCHIPEL offers an open ear, support and a safe space. Please contact archipel@asta-lueneburg.de if you would like to get involved.
Legal Advice
The AStA offers complimentary legal advice with lawyers from Lüneburg. The lawyers answer all general legal questions and concerns from students for free. Further Information here.
