Gleichstellungsmaßnahmen

With renewed funding under the Female Professors Programme, Leuphana University Lüneburg has strengthened the following priorities in its equality concept through the development of specific measures:

•    Promotion of female scientists in top positions,
•   Career and personnel development for young female scientists, and
•   Improvement of infrastructure to change the scientific culture in terms of work-life balance.

Equality measures for (early-career) female researchers include the ProScience and ProViae mentoring programmes, scholarships and travel expenses to promote mobility (international research stays) and a visiting scholar programme for gender studies.
