Self defence for FLINTA* students

14. Jun

The workshop focusses on physical self-defence and is open to FLINTA* students (for students who identify as female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender or agender).

How do I stand and move safely? What do I need to consider in dangerous/fearful situations regarding the perception of my surroundings? What role does my ability to react play? How do I behave as an eyewitness in a threatening situation?
The focus of the self-defence workshop is to get to know your own strength and ability to defend yourself and to tackle the fear of typical confrontational situations together. In addition, you will learn to assess your own limits and to set your own pace. The course covers selected basics from the field of martial arts and self-defence.
This workshop focusses on physical self-defence and is open to FLINTA* students (for students who identify as female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender or agender).
Please bring comfortable clothes and a water bottle.
