Rethinking teaching together
Designing your own teaching is a complex topic that constantly presents new challenges and one that teachers often face alone.
With our networks for teachers, we would like to invite you to change that. The various formats offer you a space to exchange experiences, ask questions and think ahead about teaching together. Our networks are not lecture events, but open discussion groups in which you can contribute your own topics and ideas.
We focus on various topics:
- The Leuphana Moodle network provides a space for exchanging ideas, questions and experiences relating to the use of Moodle in teaching – from didactic issues to technical problems.
- The myPortfolio network focuses on the didactic aspects of (digital) portfolio work on the one hand and the use of myPortfolio/Mahara as a technical solution on the other.
- The LfbA network is aimed specifically at teachers with special responsibilities. Here, specific challenges and needs are discussed, materials are shared and solutions are developed together to support their work in teaching and supervising students. Each semester, there is a networking meeting and/or a short workshop on university teaching. LfbAs and lecturers can register for the mailing list by emailing anke.brehl@leuphana.de.
On our website Networks for Lecturers, you will find more details about the individual networks and information on how you can participate.
In future, we could envisage an AI round table – with discussions on good practice and input from you – to exchange ideas two or three times per semester. If you are interested, or if you have any questions or requests, please feel free to write to lehrservice@leuphana.de at any time.
