Study programme accreditation
As a system-accredited university, Leuphana reviews the quality of its study programmes on its own responsibility – with the participation of external programme advisory boards in what is known as the internal review process. In this way, the university shapes its responsibility for quality assurance and the further development of its study programmes.
Internal Audit
In the internal review process, we examine quality assurance in studies and teaching. It combines content and structural development with clearly regulated procedures and transparent decisions.
Advisory Board
Each study programme is supported by an independent programme advisory board.
The members of these committees – representatives from academia, professional practice and student bodies at other universities – review the academic quality and make recommendations for further development.
In this way, they ensure that Leuphana benefits from external expertise in terms of both content and organisation.
Expert reports & certificates
In the spirit of an open quality culture, Leuphana publishes the results of its internal review procedures. These include the expert reports and accreditation certificates for the study programmes, which document the respective review, the reviewers involved and the validity periods of the quality seal (website in German).
