Subproject: Cooperation between services in the field of digital teaching (service cooperation)
Promoting cross-location services
The subproject focuses on cooperation between services at universities in Lower Saxony, offering joint counselling, support and training services, as well as testing digital learning technologies and innovative teaching concepts. As the central interface within Hochschule.digital Niedersachsen, it brings together experience from previous projects (such as ConnEx, Co3learn and SOUVER@N) and acts as an interface for all subprojects.
Cooperation between services in the field of digital teaching (service cooperation) is a sub-project designed to ensure and improve the quality and efficiency of services and support offerings for teaching staff and students in the long term. Measures include, for example, opening up continuing education offerings and the efficient development of support materials that can be used across universities.
The central objectives are:
- Implementation of systematic cooperation structures between service staff in permanent units
- Establishment and expansion of structured, cross-university cooperation between media education service facilities
- Establishing a nationwide mapping of universities in terms of their expertise
- Creating a forum that makes successful teaching and learning concepts visible, shareable and usable across institutional boundaries.
Leuphana is responsible for the sub-project Cooperation of Services in the Field of Digital Teaching (Service Cooperation), one of the largest projects in this consortium involving all 20 universities.
The subproject comprises the following six work packages:
- Differentiation and implementation of expertise mapping
- Concept for material development
- Coordination and opening up of continuing education programmes
- Establishment of a sustainable service network
- Good practice forum for digital teaching
- Needs monitoring and evaluation
