Networks for Lecturers

The Teaching Service's lecturer networks offer Leuphana lecturers the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and at the same time communicate their needs and interests to the Teaching Service. Regular meetings provide a space for exchanging ideas, discussing didactic approaches and jointly developing teaching methods. Teachers can engage in dialogue with each other and with the teaching service and contribute their own topics as well as take away new ideas.

Leuphana Moodle Network

The Leuphana Moodle Network is all about our learning management system. Teachers can ask questions, exchange ideas, present their own concepts and receive feedback. In the meetings, we discuss how Moodle can be used effectively, which design options it offers and much more. There will also be regular input on old and new, familiar and innovative functions of Moodle as well as news on the development of our own Moodle site. All teachers are welcome - whether you already work with Moodle or not. If you are interested in the network, please take a look at our Moodle course ‘Leuphana Moodle Netzwerk’. You can enrol yourself in the course. There you will find all the latest information on our content and dates.

Meetings

The Leuphana Moodle Network usually meets online for one hour at a time. Upcoming dates are:

  • 30 April 2026, 12:15–13:15:
    Round table: Navigating Moodle courses
  • 2 June 2026, 11:00–12:00:
Themed session: Moodle in the ‘DataX’ module (with guests!)

Further dates are being planned!

In topic sessions, participants receive input, while the round tables focus on presenting your own projects, ideas, or problems and engaging in a collegial exchange. No registration is required, and you are welcome to join at any time!

The meetings take place digitally. You can find recent infos and the Zoom link in the Moodle course ‘Leuphana Moodle Network’.

myPortfolio-Network

In the myPortfolio network, (digital) portfolio work and our associated myPortfolio platform are at the centre of interest. Here we discuss the didactic added value of the portfolio, technical implementation options and possible future scenarios for portfolio work. Teachers can bring their own questions and concerns to the meetings, present concrete examples of use and receive feedback or initiate open discussions. If you are interested in the network and would like to receive regular invitations to our meetings, you are welcome to join our mailing list without obligation. Simply send an e-mail to lehrservice@leuphana.de.

Meetings

The schedule for the myPortfolio network for the 2026 summer term is currently being planned and will be published here shortly.

Unless specified otherwise, the meetings are held in German.

Network for Teaching staff for special tasks & lecturers

Teaching staff for special tasks (LfbAs) take on a large number of tasks in teaching as well as in the supervision and counselling of students. A cross-faculty network of LfbAs has been established at Leuphana, which meets at regular intervals. The aim of the network is to provide impulses for the further development of their own teaching and space for collegial exchange, to share material and to support networking, based on the specific needs of the LfbAs. Efficient teaching that meets high personal quality standards is a concern of the group.

Meetings

There is usually one networking meeting exclusively for the group (during the lecture-free period) and one university didactic workshop on teaching-related topics per semester. Dates are arranged in consultation with the group.

Participation

If you are a Leuphana Lecturer and would like to be added to the network mailing list, please write to anke.brehl@leuphana.de.
