Continuing education for teaching staff

The quality of teaching depends on the didactic and methodological skills of the teaching staff. The training programme offered by the Teaching Service provides opportunities and inspiration for developing and extending these teaching skills. It is an impulse and an inspiration, but also a protected space for collegial exchange and discourse about one's own teaching experiences and challenges.

• Workshop series AI skills for lecturers: Learn how to integrate generative AI tools into your teaching in a legally compliant and pedagogically sound way.
• Can’t find what you’re looking for in the programme? With our on-demand service, we’d be happy to help you organise a bespoke training course on a topic of your choice for a group of teaching staff from your academic unit. Blended Learning Programme Lehre am Start

The Blended Learning Programme Lehre am Start is further education programme in blended learning format for teachers who wish to start teaching at Leuphana. Participants acquire basic higher education didactic knowledge for planning and conducting their own courses, evaluating exam performances, and for feedback and communication in teaching.The programme is entirely in German.
 

Intercultural Teaching Competence

Intercultural Teaching Competence is a compact programme in English in a blended learning format. It is aimed at international teachers and German-speaking teachers who teach in English. The programme teaches the basics of goal-oriented teaching with a special focus on intercultural teaching contexts.
