Continuing Education

The quality of teaching depends on the didactic and methodological skills of the teaching staff. The training programme offered by the Teaching Service provides opportunities and inspiration for developing and extending these teaching skills. It is an impulse and an inspiration, but also a protected space for collegial exchange and discourse about one's own teaching experiences and challenges.

The Teaching Service offers a wide range of opportunities for the further training of Leuphana's teaching staff.

Workshops & Courses

We regularly offer web workshops that focus on the possibilities of using digital tools in digitally supported teaching.
Some of these can also be attended as part of the programmes.

We are currently offering a series of workshops on the topic of "AI skills for teachers". Further information can be found on the workshop series website.

Blended Learning Zertifikat für Lehrkompetenz

The Blended Learning Zertifikat für Lehrkompetenz is an approximately one-year training programme for Leuphana lecturers who wish to receive basic training in higher education didactics. It consists of a basic level, Lehre am Start, and a professionalisation level, Lehre Plus. The programme is entirely in German.

Starting to Teach for Internationals

Starting to Teach in Higher Education is a compact programme in English in a blended learning format. It is aimed particularly at international lecturers who would like a basic introduction to teaching at Leuphana.
