Diversity Day 2022 addresses the issue of racism

events take place 31th May to 2nd June 2022


For the sixth time, we are joining the nationwide "Diversity Day" initiated by Charta der Viefalt on 31 May 2022. This year's Diversity Day will focus on "Racism" and will take place in the form of various events between 31st May and 2nd June 2022. All members and affiliates of the University are welcome!

The following events are planned:

  •     31 May 2022 17:00-18:30: Lecture with Prof. Dr. Serhat Karakayalı (C40.606)
  •     02 June 2022 14:00-17:30: Racism in university teaching - reflection workshop for lecturers (online)
  •     02 June 2022 17:30-19:00: Uncovering racism in the German education system. Eingeschrieben - Zeichen setzen gegen Rassismus an deutschen Hochschulen (hybrid: C 40.154 and ZOOM)

In addition, the Leuphana homepage will once again be dedicated to Diversity Day. At www.leuphana.de, starting on 31st May, you will be able to read several interviews that explore the topic of racism from different perspectives.
