OPENING (2/2): Career Paths with a PhD

What career options are available after the PhD within and beyond academia?

This workshop provides an overview of career paths for researchers across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. A particular focus lies on making non-academic careers less of a “black box” by discussing typical roles, required skills, and transition possibilities.

In addition, the workshop introduces a practical framework for iteratively identifying which jobs, sectors, and work environments could be a good fit based on participants’ own strengths, values, interests, and skill sets using self-reflection, networking techniques, LinkedIn, and AI tools as part of the exploration process.
