Possible uses of Collaboard

Collaboard can be used in the context of courses, but also during conferences or meetings:

  •     Collection of ideas in the form of simple brainstorms/mindmaps
  •     Independent development of topics and exercises
  •     Creation of presentations
  •     Implementation of planning or strategy development
  •     Organization of teamwork

According to the ARCS model (Keller 1983/1987), student motivation arises from these factors:

  •     Attracting attention (Attention)
  •     Demonstrating relevance and significance (Relevance)
  •     Enabling prospects for success and confidence in success (Confidence)
  •     Enable satisfaction (Satisfaction)

By using the digital whiteboard, the factors attention and relevance can be achieved by allowing learners to solve a task collaboratively with others in a self-determined manner. The attention of the participants can be directed via the board functions.

Due to the great freedom of choice in the design, the manifold possibilities and simple operation, secure results and thus prospects of success and confidence in success among the learners are enabled.

This way you can achieve a good integration of the participants into a team and control the task level, which in turn results in satisfaction and a sense of competence.

Last but not least, the features serve to provide fun and variety for students as they create and try things out for themselves.
