Assessment in the digital and AI age

How can you design assessments that genuinely test the skills you want students to develop – especially with generative AI widely available? Following an introduction to assessment design, you will explore and discuss different assessment scenarios with and without generative AI. The session considers what makes a good assessment, how examination regulations can be implemented in different scenarios, and how to decide what role AI should play in assessment. You are welcome to bring your own scenarios, challenges and questions. Led by Marieke Röben, the workshop is aimed at all teaching staff, including external participants; no prior knowledge is required. It is part of the KI-Kompetenzen für Lehrende workshop series.
