Werkstatt der Mutigen

Working together locally rather than engaging in abstract discussions: “Werkstatt der Mutigen” brings together stakeholders from politics, public administration, civil society and the business sector in Lüneburg to jointly develop concrete ideas for tackling societal challenges.

The next "Werkstatt der Mutigen" takes place on May 27th, 2026.

The next “Werkstatt der Mutigen” will focus in particular on social innovation as an essential component of an attractive and liveable city. Join the discussion on how civil society itself can make a difference, where support from regional or national government is needed, and what funding options are available.

The members of the Bundestag Dr. Julia Verlinden and Jakob Blankenburg took part at the last "Werkstatt der Mutigen", among others.

Under the motto “What if the future turns out well?”, a group of motivated residents of Lüneburg developed visions for housing and sustainable economic activity at the Utopia. Through a series of pitches and fishbowl discussions, the evening unfolded as a lively exchange of questions and answers about the future. Participants also had the opportunity to chat and network.
