Werkstatt der Mutigen

Working together locally rather than engaging in abstract discussions: “Werkstatt der Mutigen” brings together stakeholders from politics, public administration, civil society and the business sector in Lüneburg to jointly develop concrete ideas for tackling societal challenges.

Outlook

The Werkstatt der Mutigen continues – and with it, our engagement for Lüneburg. Following our evening in May 2026, we look forward to the next workshop as well as to new formats that will keep the network alive in the meantime. Together with Project Together and all previous participants, we want to deepen our collaboration – because change doesn’t happen in a single evening, but through ongoing participation. A specific date for the next workshop has not yet been set. Please keep an eye on our website or join the community so you don’t miss any updates.

This was the "Werkstatt der Mutigen" in May 2026

At the 2nd Lüneburg “Werkstatt der Mutigen” on May 27th, 2026, stakeholders from civil society, business, academia, politics and public administration came together once again – this time with a focus on funding opportunities for social innovations and public-benefit enterprises (SIGUs). In terms of content, the evening built on the first workshop on the topic of ‘Sustainable Business’ and highlighted concrete courses of action. The joint discussions revealed a shared vision: Lüneburg has the potential to become a beacon for social innovation – and the enthusiasm of all those involved was clearly noticeable.

The members of the Bundestag Dr. Julia Verlinden and Jakob Blankenburg took part at the last "Werkstatt der Mutigen" in April 2025, among others.

Under the motto “What if the future turns out well?”, a group of motivated residents of Lüneburg developed visions for housing and sustainable economic activity at the Utopia. Through a series of pitches and fishbowl discussions, the evening unfolded as a lively exchange of questions and answers about the future. Participants also had the opportunity to chat and network.
