Creating the school of the future
Whether digitalization, democracy education or learning with AI - schools are facing many challenges today. This makes it all the more important to develop solutions together in order to guide pupils well into the future. In the Leuphana Innovation Community School Development and Leadership, science, school practice, non-school stakeholders and administration work together on current topics.
The Goal
A future-proof, equitable and sustainable education system - this is what the Innovation Community School Development and Leadership is committed to. We bring together stakeholders from science, practice, administration and business to enable real change. We work in partnership and at eye level. In this way, we learn from each other and jointly develop solutions based on scientifically sound and practical knowledge. Networking and openness to external impulses are our core values - because sustainable innovation can only succeed together.
The Challenge
Schools today face enormous challenges: A lack of staff and resources, unequal educational opportunities and increased demands on teachers and management are putting a strain on everyday school life. Added to this are digital backlogs and a close connection between educational success and social background. This is where our community comes in. After all, innovative strength is created through exchange with a wide range of external partners, a broad transfer of knowledge and the active involvement of all stakeholders.
Our Path: Innovate Together
Together, we want to strengthen the flexibility and innovative power of schools. In regular meetings, we exchange ideas, work on specific projects and change perspectives. Leuphana accompanies this process empirically, creates connections to external partners (e.g. companies), provides media support and strengthens evidence-based action. We promote networking, knowledge exchange and joint learning via our Innomatch platform. Everyone is invited to participate and actively shape the transformation of schools.
Innomatch is the central platform for our community. This is where we exchange ideas on all important topics relating to the transformation of schools and education. Are you a school principal or teacher, part of an EdTech company, working in extracurricular education or researching topics such as school development, leadership, inclusion or digitalization in schools? Then you have come to the right place!
On Innomatch, all community members can share tips on interesting websites, media or articles as well as ready-made concepts relating to schools and teaching. Are you planning a training course at your school together with others or are you looking for like-minded people for a specific project? Then post your idea. You will also find information on Innomatch about exciting events within the community and beyond.
