International Partners

Global academic cooperation is a key element of the strategic development plan of Leuphana University Lüneburg. In addition to cooperation projects with partner institutions in research and education, mobility programmes for students at all levels of study as well as dual degree programmes are of particular importance in order to provide as many students as possible with an international academic experience and to promote diversity on Leuphana's Campus.

Global Partnerships

Our global partnerships are essential in building an international presence and in providing opportunities for us to engage with gifted students and committed researchers across the world.

Currently, Leuphana University is engaging in academic and educational collaborations with more than 150 higher education institutions around the globe.

An overview of all student exchange partnerships can be found in the corresponding database.

In addition, Leuphana has developed several international degree programs in cooperation with partner institutions, which lead to a dual degree or have a semester abroad (compulsory or voluntary) embedded in the course structure.

Some of these partnerships are particularly close as is the case for instance of the University of Glasgow, which is linked to Leuphana through the European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) research center and several double degree programs at the bachelor's and master's level.

Cooperation with other valued partners is more subject-specific and relations are maintained accordingly at one of our schools, faculties or institutes.
