Education for sustainable development
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a cross-cutting topic that is represented in a variety of ways in the projects of the Leuphana Innovation Community School Improvement and Leadership. It teaches people how to take responsibility and make informed decisions - ecologically, socially and economically. It makes global connections tangible, strengthens sustainability awareness and promotes sustainable action.
ESD is therefore an important approach, especially in schools, which we address in our community work: How can we succeed in integrating sustainability into the various areas of everyday school life - administration, didactics and curriculum? What opportunities are offered by the transformation of existing structures towards sustainable school development?
