Start AI Literacy Learning Community

In the 2026/27 winter semester, the AI Literacy Learning Community for staff will launch at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. The AI Literacy Hub of the Leuphana AI Campus is thus creating a programme where interested colleagues can meet regularly in person to discuss AI in teaching.


The plan is to attend the AI Literacy lecture together, which is offered to students on Mondays during the Leuphana semester in the winter term. These lecture visits will be accompanied by open workshop sessions and group lunches. All events can be attended independently of one another.


What will the learning community focus on?
The aim of the Learning Community is to provide a forum for low-threshold discussion amongst colleagues facing the same challenges. The AI Literacy Hub team looks forward to exploring the following questions together with interested participants:

  • How are first-year students at Leuphana introduced to the topic of AI?
  • What specific ideas can I take away from this for my own teaching?
  • What topics would I like to contribute to the Learning Community?
