When I look back on my time at Leuphana today....
...I fondly remember my fellow students, projects, and excursions, but the opportunity to deal with topics over a longer period of time, and a broad study program, in terms of content.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
Only in parts. I used the time I spent studying to start my own business at the same time. At the same time, I learned to think in a networked way and to develop projects. The purely content-related work of my studies has little to do with my work today. Nevertheless, I value my studies as a school of thought and have met many good and inspiring people.
What are the advantages of studying at Leuphana?
I can't say exactly whether it was the university or the study program, but simply a great variety of content. Also, as the name suggests, it was very applied. I also always appreciated the university campus, which was especially noticeable when you had to go to Rotesfeld or Volgershall.
To whom would you recommend studying at Leuphana?
I can recommend the study of applied cultural studies to anyone who wants to work actively in culture. It gives impulses to start projects and to network.
What experiences can I contribute as an Alumni Angel?
I have found a few ventures in the culture/entertainment sector and am currently doing artist management. I could imagine being able to help one or the other with orientation.
