How much of an entrepreneur are you? Find out in the two-day online workshop FROM PHD TO INNOVATOR for PhD students and postdocs from all disciplines. Guided by our experienced coaches, you will learn in a group of highly motivated researchers how to turn your doctoral thesis into a business idea. The workshop is free of charge and requires no prior knowledge. The online workshop will be held via zoom between 9 am and 5 pm in English.

Find out what it means to be an entrepreneur, discover your entrepreneurial skills and get to know our role models. Develop your idea into a tangible prototype.
Introduction to Entrepreneurship and MEET THE ROLEMODELS
Ideation: From research to business idea
Prototyping: Test your product for its critical function
Day 2: PITCHING & INTRAPRENEURSHIP
You will present your prototype to an audience and learn how to convince people of your idea and personality. For insights into the business world, an intrapreneur from one of our regional partner companies will answer your questions.
Iteration: Test your prototype and apply feedback
Pitch: Practice presenting your idea on the digital stage
Innovation and intrapreneurship: insights into a German business enterprise
