The Card Game "Game of Schools"

With “Game of Schools,” the Leuphana Innovation Community for School Improvement and Leadership has created an innovative card game that allows school administrators, teachers, education administrators, and other interested parties to engage with the topic of school development in a playful way. The goal of the game is to move a school forward with new ideas. This involves managing resources wisely, finding creative solutions to bottlenecks, and not letting setbacks and obstacles discourage you.

This playful approach also piqued the interest of the Hamburger Abendblatt. During a test session with teachers from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, as well as Prof. Dr. Marcus Pietsch from Leuphana University, reporter Lena Thiele was able to experience the game firsthand and then discuss it with the two developers, Hariet Schellig and Dennis Wohlfeil. The result of the game review: it passed! The Leuphana Innovation Community for School Improvement and Leadership is delighted with the positive feedback!
