Lower Saxony - Scotland Tandem Fellowship Programme: Apply now

2023-01-23 The European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) reminds you that the current application deadline for the Lower Saxony – Scotland Tandem Fellowship Programme is 31 January.

The programme is funded by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony (MWK) and organised by ECAS, a direct cooperation between Leuphana University Lüneburg and the University of Glasgow (Scotland). Since 2019, this offer has given scientists the opportunity to conduct research and present their project to an interdisciplinary audience from academia and industry.

Applications are open to young researchers, postdoctoral researchers and people with a postdoctoral position who have completed their doctorate within the last ten years and have an employment contract (which extends over the duration of the fellowship) with a Lower Saxony or Scottish university, university of applied sciences or recognised higher education institution.

The concept is that two researchers from both regions form a tandem working on a joint project. Short-term stays (from at least one to five months per scholarship holder) in the partner region are funded with 1,400 EUR per person and month.

Applications can only be submitted by email to fellowship@ecas-academia.org until 31 January 2023.

Fellowships will be awarded for individually planned stays in the following 10 months: 1 March 2023 - 31 December 2023.
