MEZZANIN Podcast: "There should be no island solutions!"

2023-10-18 The Corona pandemic has shaped our society in many ways. Particularly on a structural level, infection protection faced major challenges. Using the example of contact tracing, the interdisciplinary research project "ZIL Contact" at Leuphana addressed the question of how infection incidents can be recorded and contained more efficiently in the future.

In the MEZZANIN podcast, Dr. Markus Philipp Zimmer, project coordinator and postdoc at the Institute of Information Systems, and Dr. Kristina Lemmer, Chief Digital Officer at the cooperation partner Landkreis Lüneburg, provide insights into their collaboration in the project. 
In doing so, they talk about the future handling of infectious diseases and the possibilities of digitizing contact tracing through innovative and data protection-compliant sensor technology.
