Germany-wide Workshop for a courageous future: Werkstatt der Mutigen
2025-09-01 Over 300 decision-makers from local authorities, civil society and federal politics came together in Berlin on Wednesday, July 9, for the second nationwide Workshop for the Brave.
The focus was on a new form of political cooperation: non-partisan, solution-oriented, close to local practice. Over 160 “courageous promises” mark the start of concrete projects - jointly supported by politics and society. Christiane Schenderlein says: “It's great to see how movers and shakers are developing bold solutions from the region for the whole of Germany. For us as a federal government, this means listening attentively, shaping things together and then tackling them with courage. Because it works best together.”
Our Leuphana Social Innovation Community was represented by our Community Manager Frederic Penz. Together with Charlotte von Wulffen and the teams from Utopia Lüneburg and Diversu, the Leuphana Social Innovation Community organized the first Lüneburg Workshop of the Brave. Frederic also made a bold promise in Berlin: In the next six months, we will hold a second workshop in Lüneburg. Dr. Julia Verlinden and Jakob Blankenburg will also be taking part again.
We will keep you up to date here as soon as the next workshop is scheduled. If you would like to work with the Leuphana Social Innovation Community on a new form of collaboration, please contact the community via LinkedIn, e-mail or come to the Communicorn Conference on September 16 and 17.
