Outstanding Master’s theses will be honored: Apply now!
University Foundation once again supports Masterthesis@Companies
2026-08-06 In 2026, the Lüneburg University Foundation for Research and Business will once again honor up to three outstanding master’s theses by students at Leuphana University Lüneburg that were completed in collaboration with private or public companies in the city or region of Lüneburg. Applications are now being accepted through September 15, 2026.
The prizes are each endowed with 1,000 euros and will be awarded in November at a ceremony hosted by the Lüneburg University Foundation for Research and Business, which highlights the importance of collaboration between academia and industry. Your complete application must be submitted online and include the following documents:
- Application form: Last name, first name, contact information of the applicant, as well as details regarding the faculty and primary advisor. The application must be signed by the primary reviewer and the applicant. The signature may be digital.
- Abstract of the master’s thesis: Detailed information about the master’s thesis is entered directly into the online tool and should be written in German.
- Explanation of the regional relevance and impact on the region (Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, Hamburg Metropolitan Region): Descriptive texts regarding the impact on the region are also submitted digitally.
- Information on the partner company: The company must provide verifiable consent to be named, including contact information.
