Team Q
Leuphana's system-accredited quality management is responsible for quality assurance and quality development in the areas of study and teaching.
Discussions with students and student feedback give essential impulses for developing studies and teaching. Leuphana offers several formats for such discussions and applies regulated QM tools to ensure that the results are used to improve courses, modules, degree programmes and framework conditions.
Quality circles for all study programs usually take place once a year. Those responsible for the study programs, students and lecturers exchange experiences, discuss evaluation results and agree on measures for the quality development of the study programs. The participants of the following quality circle, the FGV and the management check the implementation of the measures.
Internal teaching evaluation at Leuphana University of Lüneburg comprises a range of university-internal surveys of (former) students and lecturers on study and teaching quality, designed, implemented and analysed by the Leuphana Teaching Evaluation team (LEva). Evaluation processes are used to gather information about teaching quality at different university levels and from different perspectives.
The questionnaire-based course evaluation (LVE) is used to evaluate the teaching of individual courses. In addition, there is the possibility of obtaining qualitative feedback in relation to one's own teaching (SHIFT!). System surveys refer to entire study programs and study framework conditions. The conception and evaluation of the system surveys is based on the student lifecycle university.
Team Q's premises are situated in Building 7 on Campus.
