Try using AI to shape the future of sustainable supply chains, visualize current realities in Social Presencing Theater, explore new possibilities for the future, or learn about different ways to open up school lessons – there is a wide range of methods workshops to choose from, so you can pick the one that interest you most. In the workshop, you will try out and learn the methods for yourself through hands-on application. Detailed workshop descriptions can be found in the registration link:
Social Presencing Theater (SPT) is a method inspired by Asian mindfulness and awareness traditions as well as theater and dance, based on the Theory U framework developed at MIT. SPT uses the intelligence of the human body and the interaction between the left and right hemispheres of the brain to solve complex problems in a group setting. We will use simple exercises to find ways out of a “stuck” situation, i.e., a deadlock or impasse from which there seems to be no practical way out for those involved. Bring your complex problems with you!
Workshop facilitator: Kerst van Raden, eMNetCon Netzwerk Consulting GmbH
How can we better understand complex developments and prepare ourselves for possible futures? In this workshop, we will delve into the practice of strategic foresight. After a brief introduction to the basics and areas of application, we will try out the Futures Wheel – a method that can be used to visualize systemic interactions and the consequences of “what-if” questions. Together, we will work on topics that are particularly relevant to you (in the context of the Communicorn conference). Step by step, we will identify opportunities, risks, and unexpected side effects. In addition, we will take a look at related tools from futurology that facilitate transfer into practice and organization.
Workshop facilitator: Max Irmer, futurologist
Together, we will discover Ecocycle Planning – a playful and visual method from Liberating Structures. It helps us to see not only activities, but also relationships and projects in their natural stages of development: emergence, maturity, letting go, and new beginnings. With simple steps and small group exercises, we reveal where energy flows, where it gets stuck, and where something new can emerge. This gives you a fresh perspective on what is important right now – and ideas on how you can create space for the essentials. Think cyclically instead of working linearly – for more clarity, balance, and vitality in what you do and with whom you do it.
Workshop facilitator: Julia Rothamel, Leibniz Institute for Ecological Spatial Development
How do we really get moving – as a team, as an initiative, or as an individual with a vision? Starting from our own vision – whether as an entrepreneur, teacher, student, or committed citizen – we ring to life the challenges and resources that come into play along the way. With the help of body-based exercises, we explore our vision, reflect on our current situation, and discover what can bring us closer to our goal. In doing so, we use the wisdom of the body to find answers that go beyond the mind. At the end, you will not only gain clarity about your next steps, but also a deeper understanding of how collaborative creation comes to life.
Workshop facilitator: Dr. Theres Konrad, Leuphana University Lüneburg
“Everything is circular” is a phrase that is now widely used, but how does it come to life? How big are the cycles and what alternates with what? How and why do regenerative forms of work emerge from this?
Participants can expect an experiential space beyond classic workshop formats – with room for introspection, new perspectives, and concrete ideas for sustainable work – inspired by natural cycles and artistic thinking. Participants can expect an experiential space beyond classic workshop formats – with room for introspection, new perspectives, and concrete impulses for sustainable work – inspired by natural cycles, artistic thinking, and deep self-reflection. Ele's approach combines creativity with personal development and asks central questions about the current work and economic context: What do we need to work with motivation, meaning, and energy? How can we treat ourselves, others, and nature with respect?
Workshop facilitator: Dr. Ele Jansen, Deep Creation
Innovative learning formats are promising for all types of schools, but they are also challenging. In this workshop, participants will work together to learn about and apply various concepts for designing and opening up teaching. Representatives from schools with innovative teaching concepts will be available for direct exchange to report on their own experiences and provide insights into the development processes. The aim of the workshop is for all participants to derive concrete next steps for their own teaching development and to take immediate action. And not as lone warriors, but with the networking and support of like-minded people who also strive for open teaching.
Workshop facilitators: John Dauert, Lisa Hofmann, János Lilienthal, Gerd Krohn, Ninja Müller & Selma Polat Mencke, Innovation Community School Development and Leadership
In this workshop, we ask AI: What could innovative and sustainable production and value chains look like in 2050? How can we achieve sustainability despite multiple crises? Together, we will create prompts and feed your ideas from day one about the future of sustainable entrepreneurship, your questions, wishes, and wildest ideas into AI formats and ask for freely associated and colorful visions of the future. Anything that inspires us, amazes us, and makes us think is allowed.
We will use the scenarios that emerge to discuss steps toward (or away from) such a vision of the future for you and your teams.
Finally, we will reflect together: What ideas for responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development will stay with us? We look forward to a creative workshop on the future of entrepreneurship and sustainability!
Workshop facilitators: Dr. Franca Bülow and Christopher Krit Venzky-Stalling, Leuphana University Lüneburg
