The Lob Lab develops innovative job profiles in collaboration with companies to attract and retain skilled workers in the long term.

The labour market is undergoing radical change: job profiles and requirements for skilled workers are changing across all sectors. Digitalisation, new forms of collaboration and changing employee expectations mean that traditional job profiles are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Companies are faced with the challenge of filling vacant positions in a targeted manner and retaining qualified employees in the long term in order to remain competitive.

The Job Lab aims to develop and test innovative job profiles at the interface between science, business and society. The focus is on how task and competence profiles can be designed in such a way that individual needs and operational requirements are brought together in the best possible way.

The project ranges from conceptual rethinking of future job profiles to the practical development of implementable measures – with the aim of deploying qualified specialists in a targeted and tailored manner.
