Competence Development

Alongside research and teaching, one of the core tasks of any university is to support the overall development of the next generation of researchers. That support is part of the institution's responsibility for researchers' profiles and careers. Leuphana University of Lüneburg is committed to facilitating independence in research from an early stage. That is why we offer our doctoral candidates and postdocs a wide range of optional development opportunities in addition to the doctoral modules to enable them to make the best possible use of the opportunities and freedom available to them at this stage in their career, and to shape their career path in a creative and innovative way.

GradSkills – Skills and career development

Leuphana offers a comprehensive range of continuing education courses for developing interdisciplinary skills. These are open to academics at all levels and prepare you for careers within and beyond scientific and academic institutions. The courses available are listed in the GradSkills portal.
