The principles of research ethics are central to maintaining the credibility of research findings, ensuring the safety of participants, and maintaining ethical standards in the academic community.

This slot is the opening session of "The Good Scientist - A Seminar on Research Integrity." In this course, you will learn about the various ethical principles and values associated with the research process and academia. In doing so, we will support them in developing their own scientific attitude in relation to their research project and discipline. They will also acquire knowledge about how to conduct research responsibly, e.g., in terms of data management, publication practices, peer review, or supervision. Your instructors Anna Sundermann and Dr. Claire Grauer will explain the background as well as the process of this innovative hybrid event and will of course be available to answer your questions.

The event is part of the module "Engaging with Research Ethics".
