Conference: The Future of Graduate Education

What are future perspectives in graduate education? Can we contribute and help shaping new trends? Which innovative ideas are already implemented at other universities in order to adapt the gradudate education to modern standards? At the conference on “The Future of Graduate Education“ we are going to discuss these and other questions with national and international higher education experts.

Professor James Conroy is Vice Principal Emeritus and Dean for Global Engagement (for Europe) at the University of Glasgow.
Professor Dr. Ulf-Daniel Ehlers
Dr. Ulf-Daniel Ehlers is Professor for Educational Management & Lifelong Learning and the Senior Strategic Advisor for digital transformation of teaching and learning at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
Dr. Jennifer Griffiths
Dr. Jennifer Griffiths is Associate Director in the University College London (UCL) Arena Centre for Research-based Education.
Professor Robert Harris
Professor Robert Harris is a research group leader at the Centre for Molecular Medicine, a designated translational medicine centre at Karolinska Institutet (KI) in Sweden. He completed both undergraduate (Biology) and PhD (Parasitology) education in the UK before moving to KI in 1994. He was made Professor of Immunotherapy in Neurological Diseases in 2013 and leads the Applied Immunology & Immunotherapy research group at CMM.

Sandra Heinemann is coordinator of non-academic career paths for PhD candidates at “Innovative Hochschule Jade-Oldenburg!“, a joint project of Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Jade University of Applied Sciences and OFFIS Institute for Information Technology.
