Culture and leisure program

Our welcome day on Monday, 5th August begins with a breakfast in the university canteen, after which you will get to know the campus on a tour. Afterwards, you will discover Lüneburg on a historical city tour through the medieval cobblestones streets. We hope for sunny weather, because a visit to a beer garden is also on the list!

Intensive language classes take place on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 1:15 pm. In the afternoon, our student tutors offer a summer program with photo walks, film evenings, games and sports on the Mensa meadow. During the "International Evening", you can present your home university and bring a typical dish from your country for the international buffet!

Sunday is free for exploring. Our student tutors will give you tips for excursions in self-organized groups, e.g. for a day at the beach on the Baltic Sea in Lübeck-Travemünde.

The social program concludes with a "Farewell Dinner" on Thursday, 29th August.

Excursion to the farm by the ponds and guided tour of the forest garden with Dr. Agnes Friedel from the Faculty of Sustainability. If you like, you can go by bike!

Saturday, 24 August 2024: A day by the sea
Weather permitting, we are offering a trip to the North Sea in Cuxhaven this weekend

The cost of an excursion is approx. 13-25 EUR. Register for the excursions via our Whats App group!
