DSpace User Meeting 2026 at Leuphana

2026-03-09

Leuphana University Lüneburg will host this year’s DSpace User Meeting, organized in cooperation with The Library Code GmbH. From 10–11 March 2026, the German-speaking DSpace community will gather in Lüneburg to exchange ideas and experiences on practical applications, recent developments, and future perspectives of the software DSpace. The event will kick off on 9 March 2026 with the FIS Networking Meeting for DSpace (DSpace-CRIS).

DSpace is a widely used open-source software for institutional repositories, enabling universities and research institutions to archive scholarly publications and other research outputs and make them openly accessible in the long term. The user meeting brings together administrators, developers, and users and provides a forum for practical reports, technical insights, and community exchange.

At the Media and Information Centre (MIZ), we operate PubData, our institutional repository based on DSpace.
