Delivery Service for Journal Articles

What kind of literature do we deliver?

We deliver articles from the journals stored at the Central Building. These are older editions published up to 2005/2006. The titles available for loan are marked as such in the Catalogue or in the LUX literature search engine.

What are the prerequisites?

To place orders, users must hold a Leuphana Card with library function activated or a library ID card.

How much does it cost?

Ordering articles of up to 20 pages is free of charge. Copying charges may apply for more extensive articles.

How do I order?

Orders can be placed via the catalogue or the LUX search engine.

  • LUX literature search engine: You must be logged-in to use the request function. The titles available for loan are identified by a “Request” button in the results' list or the full display.
  • Catalogue: Journals available for order are identified by a link marked “’Request” in the availability display. After log-in with library identification (3110...) and corresponding password, the essay can be requested.

When and how are articles delivered?

The requests are each delivered on the following day. The teaching staff of Leuphana University of Lüneburg receive the delivery as PDF file. Students, as well as external users can pick up the print article  copies at the library's service desk. Please note the service desk’s opening times.

What legal provisions apply?

For copyright reasons, you may use the reproductions provided by us only and exclusively towards your own academic work and distribute them neither in return for payment, nor free of charge, neither as print nor electronic copies.
