Digital Library
E-Journals
The Electronic Journals Library provides acces to licensed titles as well as openly availably scientific journals. It contains approximately 64.000 titles. You can not use the Electronic Journals Library to search for articles, please use LUX or subject databases.
E-Books
We strive to continously grow our e-book collection, which currently consists of approximately 161.000 titles. All titles can be found through LUX, the literature search engine of our library. The conditions for printing or saving content from e-books can vary. We have compiled more detailed information on the platforms offered, including the options regarding the printing and saving of content, on a page on the terms of use for e-books.
Databases
Databases are useful for searching for articles from journals or accessing special information like statistics etc. Please note that the literature indexed in these databases may not be available at the library. Most bibliographic databases feature a button called "FIND IT" which helps you to determine the availability of the references.
Accessing electronic content
Within the university's network
All licensend content can be accessed from any computer on campus or from the WiFi network "Leuphana". When using the WiFi networks "eduroam" and "guest", you will need the VPN access on top.
Off-Campus use
Students and teaching staff can access nearly all licensed content when using the VPN access. A guide to VPN usage for literature research can be found in this short video.
