A Moodle course is also available for independent familiarization with Citavi.

Renewal of the account as part of the renewal of the Citavi campus license

The campus license is continuously extended by the MIZ.

In order to be able to use Citavi without interruption, you must activate the license for use in your individual Citavi account and prove that you are still enrolled or working at Leuphana. Citavi will send you an email shortly before the end of the license period. To extend your license, confirm the email sent by Citavi. Or follow the steps below:

1. first log in to your Citavi account: www.citavi.com/login

2. open your profile and go to the License page

3. select “Citavi Desktop & Web Bundle”

4. follow the instructions in the right-hand column to have a verification email sent to you

5. confirm the received mail. Your license data will be generated.

6. start Citavi and log in as usual with your account access data (Leuphana e-mail and password).

Please note that if you leave Leuphana, you will no longer be able to use or extend your campus license. You should therefore export your data in good time or purchase your own license if you wish to continue working with Citavi. If you move to another university that also has a campus license, you can link your existing account to another campus license.
