Support for staff

The IT Service department supports the employees of Leuphana University with IT questions and problems during the entire life cycle of their PCs, i.e. selection, procurement, disposal and, of course, in particular with all problems that occur during the period of use.

Service requests are made to the IT Service at defined times via a hotline (Fon 677-1212). Everyday IT problems are solved at this central contact point. Anything that cannot be solved here by telephone or remote access is forwarded to the on-site service or to the specialist for the respective area of expertise. In addition, a service counter (C7.004) is available. Equipment can be dropped off and picked up here. Personal appearance may also be necessary if, for example, personal legitimation is required for password changes.

Support for Students

The first point of contact for students is the tutorial team of the Media and Information Centre, who assist with questions and problems of all kinds – especially in dealing with the public workstations of the computer centre and the use of the wireless network.
